OCALA, Florida (Reuters) - A "very sorry" Wesley Snipes, star of the "Blade" movies, was sentenced to three years in prison on Thursday for willfully failing to file U.S. income tax returns for 1999 through 2001.
The story says Snipes tried to give the court checks for five million bucks..the amount he owed..and allows it will never happen again.
People, you can piss off the Pope, slap yore Momma, and even pour beer on a Boston Red Sox fan and maybe get by with it. But you DO NOT FUCK AROUND WITH THE IRS! Them sumbitches have absolutely no sense of humor.
The United Nations reckons that it is gonna need a whole lot more money for groceries this year. Lots of hungry people on this earth to feed.

Seems to me like that all of these hungry people are hungry because the virtually fucked themselves out of enough to eat. No one wants to see or even hear about a kid staving to death. It is an affront against decency. However, I figure that feeding the starving now so they can breed more to starve ain't proving a damn thing except that the United Nations wants to bring the whole earth into a one world government..with it in control of all of the resources so they can determine who will starve and who will not. I refuse to donate one thin dime to any food program that is not tied to birth control...want a fifty pound bag of rice? Then gotdamit, summit to sterilization.
The Associated Press reports that sixteen states including Florida appear to be in a recession. No shit.
By mid-April, 16 states and Puerto Rico were reporting shortfalls in their current budgets as the revenue those budgets were built on — typically, taxes — fell short of estimates. That's double the number of states reporting a deficit six months ago.
The NCSL said the news is even worse for the upcoming fiscal year, with 23 states and Puerto Rico already reporting budget shortfalls totaling $26 billion. More than two-thirds of states said they are concerned about next year's budgets.
Florida may be in financial trouble. The economy here depends a lot on tourism and we just don't have as many as usual this year and it seems the ones that are here are not blowing as much money.
As usual the cry from the left wing is more taxes..we do not have a state income tax..the primary reason so many of us have retired in Florida..and of course the left wing wants more taxes on business and especially those wicked corporations that do business in the state. Why is it that the socialists just cannot understand that fable about killing the goose what laid the golden eggs?
Florida politicians are the same as politicians everywhere..when there is money in excess of the budget they figure a way to spend it. Problem with that is that the money is seen by those getting it as an entitlement and when there is no bucks they still demand the bucks. The silver lining though is in the Florida State Constitution..the state government is prohibited from spending more than it takes in. Every politician in the state well understands that voting to raise taxes will cost them their job and this does piss off the left wing. Kinda funny in a 'black humor' sorta way.
I gotta go to physical therapy again this morning. From the looks of things I may be going for a while yet..the sliced shoulder is fully operational but still hurts every time I move it plus I have pushed too hard and have strained a bicep and that is giving me fits. But, nothing that some darvocets and jumpstart won't take care of..y'all come back, heah?
